Nazareth and Galilee
We will drive from Jerusalem via the Jordan Valley to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation. We will continue to the Sea of Galilee for lunch (maybe St. Peter’s fish) and, in the afternoon, a visit to the sites around the Lake: Mount Beatitudes, the Church of the Multiplication and Capernaum. If time permits, we might also visit the Baptismal site at the Jordan River, Yardenit.

Return to Jerusalem.

Day 1: Nazareth and Galilee

We will go up to the Golan Hights to visit the Talmudic Village in Katzrin, continue via the Druze villages to visit either the Banias or the Tel Dan Nature Reserve.

In Safed, we will visit some of the old synagogues and walk through the alleys of the artists’ quarter.

Return to Jerusalem.

Day 3: Rosh Hanikra, Akko, Caesarea
We will travel across the Galilee to Rosh Hanikra and descend by cable car to see the grottoes, then continue to Acco to visit the Crusader city.  We will travel south along the Mediterranean via Haifa to Caesarea to visit the ancient  aqueduct and the Roman theatre dating from the time of King Herod.
